We are seeking a Technical Writer to support a growing Automation Engineering team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work directly with

What You"ll Be Doing

• Partner with engineers to document automation and controls projects.
• Capture critical technical information throughout project execution.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, work orders, and project records.
• Organize technical data to support engineering, production, and service teams.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring documentation, and project information for accuracy.
• Follow projects from start to finish while ensuring documentation remains complete and organized.
• Support documentation related to customer inquiries, project updates, and production activities.

What We"re Looking For

• Experience in Technical Writing, Engineering Documentation, or similar technical support roles.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical information.
• Basic familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, controls, or control panels.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with engineers, technicians, manufacturing teams, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
• Former Electrical Technicians, Controls Technicians, Engineering Coordinators, and Technical Writers are encouraged to apply.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
