Job Title: Technical Transfer Specialist - Manufacturing Operations
Location: Tucson, AZ 85755
Pay: $30-$32/hr (Based on experience)
Contract Length: 1 year, Potential for contract extension or conversion to FTE

We are seeking a Technical Transfer Specialist to support the transfer of new products and processes from Development into Manufacturing Operations. This role will focus on process transfer, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support product and process transfers from development to manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with Operations, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Project teams.
  • Assist with process validation, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Apply Lean principles and problem-solving tools to improve processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and maintain standardized procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in GMP/cGMP settings.
  • Strong communication, project coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and quality procedures with high attention to detail.
  • Basic troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, or laboratory experience (academic or industry).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
