    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Technical Trainer you will work to become a subject-matter-expert (SME) to provide enterprise technical expertise across key technology disciplines by developing standardized curriculum, supporting Technical Training Centers, partnering with OEMs, expanding field training capability, and leading Train-the-Trainer initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of field training services in preventative maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems.

    What You'll Do:

    • Support management by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot various conveyor systems in the network.
    • Oversee and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
    • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay reasoning, ladder diagrams, control components, etc.
    • Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
    • Develop and implement training plans for field technicians to include scheduling and conducting remote and in-person training.
    • Create work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
    • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine and non-routine problems.
    • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
    • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
    • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
    • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

    What You'll Need:

    • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
    • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
    • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
    • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Knowledge of other software products. Examples include learning management systems, work order management systems, etc.
    • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
