Primary
Purpose:
Analyze
hardware
and
software,
on-premises
and
hosted,
across
a
variety
of
systems,
ensuring
that
the
setup
and
functionality
meet
district
standards.
Coordinate
the
diagnosis
and
repair
of
district
systems,
communicating
with
district
personnel,
product
vendors,
and/or
third-party
technical
support.
Assist
in
developing
district-wide
processes
for
testing,
repairing,
and
setting
up
district
technology.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Associate
degree
in
a
technology-related
field,
required
Bachelor's
Degree,
Preferred
Special
Knowledge/Skills:
Basic
networking
skills
preferred.
Experience:
Must
have
experience
in
hardware
and
software
troubleshooting,
maintenance,
and
repair
in
a
PC
environment.
Must
have
experience
with
desktop
applications
for
Windows,
macOS,
iOS/iPadOS,
and
Chrome
OS
operating
systems.
Major
Responsibilities
and
Duties:
Technical
Demonstrate
thorough
knowledge
of
computer
hardware
and
software.
Have
knowledge
of
local
and
wide
area
network
systems.
Analyze
incoming
work
orders
using
the
District's
helpdesk
ticket
system
and
respond
to
tickets
appropriately
and
in
a
reasonable
timeframe.
Assist
in
the
planning,
configuration,
and
deployment
of
district-provided
technology,
such
as
Laptops
and
tablets
(Chrome
OS,
macOS,
iOS,
iPadOS,
Windows),
district-approved
software,
etc.
Identify,
diagnose,
and
find
effective
solutions
for
issues
related
to
district-provided
technology,
including
laptops,
tablets,
interactive
flat
panels,
scanners,
printers,
etc.
Coordinate,
perform,
and
document
warranty
work
for
hardware
repairs
Inventory
Ensure
the
availability
of
spare
parts
for
troubleshooting
and
repair
in
accordance
with
district
standards.
Assist
with
maintaining
the
fidelity
of
the
district
inventory.
Policy,
Reports,
and
Law
Ensure
compliance
with
federal
and
state
law,
State
Board
of
Education
rules,
and
local
board
policy.
Compile,
maintain,
and
file
all
reports,
records,
and
other
documents
required,
including
timekeeping
records.
Follow
district
safety
protocols
and
emergency
procedures.
Safety
Maintain
safety
standards
in
compliance
with
federal,
state,
and
insurance
regulations,
as
well
as
district
requirements,
and
develop
a
preventive
safety
program.
Ensure
equipment
is
maintained
in
optimum
operating
condition.
Other
