We AreSynopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
This position can be fully remote and work anywhere in the United States.
You Are
You have spent enough time in electromagnetics or signal integrity work to know that the simulation is only as good as the setup, and the setup only matters if the customer can actually use it. You understand S-parameters, impedance, and eye diagrams not as textbook concepts but as tools you reach for when someone''s PCB layout is causing crosstalk or their connector design is failing compliance.
You like helping people solve problems. Not in a vague customer service way, but in the specific sense of sitting with an engineer who is stuck, asking the right questions, reproducing the issue, and walking them to a solution that actually works. You know when to escalate and when to dig in yourself.
Working across HFSS, SIwave, or similar tools feels natural to you. You have used them enough to know where they shine and where customers typically get tripped up. You are organized enough to manage multiple support cases without dropping threads, and you communicate clearly whether you are writing to a customer, filing a defect report, or briefing a product team on what users are asking for.
At Synopsys, you will work directly with customers using Ansys electronics simulation tools, and what you learn from them will feed back into how the product evolves.
