Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. The ideal candidate will advocate for customers by understanding and troubleshooting our platform, employing cloud technologies, and resolving technical cases by leveraging their expertise in ServiceNow software and platform. This role requires someone with a strong ability to analyze data to isolate issues, collaborate effectively, and a readiness to work on-site in our San Diego office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a customer advocate, ensuring effective support for users/administrators.
  • Understand and troubleshoot the platform deeply, using cloud technologies to resolve challenging technical situations.
  • Resolve technical cases promptly, providing solutions or guidance regarding the ServiceNow software and platform.
  • Analyze customer data to isolate potential causes of issues, employing a thorough understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its core functionalities.
  • Foster collaboration to achieve personal and group goals, involving others when necessary.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Fundamental understanding of networking and scripting, along with familiarity with a programming language
  • Strong grasp of relational database concepts

Industry Experience Required:

  • Experience in computer systems support, especially networked and/or wireless systems, and complex software troubleshooting is essential for this role. Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms like ServiceNow is highly desirable.
