Job Details

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, M-F

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Required Experience:

Strong Python programming skills.
Experience developing automation software or engineering test tools.
Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, or similar lab equipment.
Experience communicating with hardware through SCPI, VISA, Serial, USB, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, or similar interfaces.
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware debugging.
Experience with Git and collaborative software development.

What You'll Do:

Develop Python software that automates hardware validation and production testing.
Create engineering test scripts, data collection tools, and manufacturing test applications.
Support prototype bring-up by automating measurements and executing validation tests.
Troubleshoot software and hardware communication issues.
Analyze test data to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
Maintain Git repositories and improve test software over time.
Support manufacturing partners using production test software.
Help improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and engineering efficiency.
