    Technical Solutions Engineer (AWS/ DevOps)

    Join a leading multi strategy investment firm where cutting edge cloud and platform engineering directly drives trading performance. This Technical Solutions Engineer role sits in the front office, partnering with Portfolio Managers, Quants and Researchers to support and optimise mission critical trading and research platforms built on AWS.

    You will act as a hands on AWS DevOps specialist, owning production environments across cloud infrastructure and platform services. Working across Kubernetes, Terraform and Airflow, you will resolve high impact issues in real time, drive automation, and improve system scalability, reliability and performance. This is a highly visible role where your work directly impacts trading outcomes.

    They are looking for a high impact engineer who blends strong production support with modern DevOps principles. You will move beyond reactive support into true platform ownership, automating workflows, enhancing cloud architecture and acting as a trusted advisor to front office teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own production environments across AWS based infrastructure and platform services
    • Deliver high touch support for front office trading and research systems
    • Drive automation using Python and Bash to reduce manual processes
    • Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads
    • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
    • Lead incident management end to end including root cause analysis and long term fixes
    • Partner with developers and researchers to improve platform usage, performance and reliability

    Key Skills

    • Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM or similar)
    • Solid Linux systems background
    • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
    • Hands on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
    • Infrastructure as code experience using Terraform
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and workflow tools like Airflow
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and production issues in real time
