Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a self-driven, high-impact Domain Architect/Consultant who brings deep Credit Union and Banking expertise and can connect business priorities with technology strategy. This role will partner with business and technology leaders to shape domain architecture, drive analytics-led initiatives, and influence CXO-level decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead domain architecture strategy aligned to business outcomes across Credit Union and Banking functions.
Translate business goals into scalable technology roadmaps, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities across platforms.
Connect the dots across systems, data, processes, and customer journeys to design integrated, future-ready solutions.
Drive analytics initiatives by identifying data-driven opportunities, reviewing performance trends, and deriving high-value projects.
Conduct domain and technology assessments; recommend target-state architecture and transformation plans.
Influence and advise CXO-level stakeholders through clear, evidence-based recommendations and strategic storytelling.
Lead cross-functional teams and workshops; align product, operations, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
Ensure architecture decisions support regulatory expectations, operational resilience, and long-term business growth.
Partner with business stakeholders through structured discovery sessions to elicit, challenge, and baseline business requirements, ensuring clarity of scope and alignment on expected outcomes before solution design begins.
Leverage AI agents and tools such as Rovo to accelerate the authoring of well-formed user stories, enabling faster backlog creation and reduced time-to-delivery.
Apply deep business SME knowledge to validate end-to-end functional outcomes, ensuring that delivered solutions produce results that are meaningful, accurate, and fit for real-world business use - not just technically correct.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Domain Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Consultant in Banking/Credit Union environments.
Strong subject-matter expertise in Credit Union and Banking operations, products, and ecosystem.
Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology, with strong systems thinking and architectural depth.
Experience leading analytics-led transformation programs and converting insights into executable projects.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence senior leadership.
Self-driven leadership style with a track record of ownership, initiative, and delivery in ambiguous environments.
