Technical Solutions Analyst - HRIS Integrations

TEWS Company is a boutique staffing and recruiting firm headquartered in Orlando, FL. We partner with top organizations to hire high-impact professionals. We are currently recruiting for a confidential client seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst III (HRIS Integrations).

Overview

This is an on-site role in Houston, TX (Galleria area) supporting HRIS and payroll-related integrations, system enhancements, data management, and reporting/analytics.

What you’ll do

• Build, enhance, and support HRIS integrations between core HR platforms and ancillary systems.
• Design and maintain API-based integrations (REST) using middleware tools such as SAP CPI or Boomi.
• Analyze integration points/gaps; define data mapping and transformation requirements.
• Support HRIS configuration, add-on modules, upgrades/enhancements, and release impact analysis.
• Troubleshoot integration alerts/data issues; coordinate fixes with IT teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (requirements, designs, test scripts, procedures).
• Develop and execute UAT and regression testing for system/integration changes.
• Deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Apply HR analytics to identify trends and support data-informed decisions.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, IT/CS) or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 6+ years experience in HRIS, Business Systems, or similar technical analyst role.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, or comparable HRIS/time & labor platforms.
• Strong background with complex integrations across multiple systems/vendors.
• Hands-on technical skills including:
  • REST APIs, integration/middleware platforms (CPI/Boomi or similar)
  • SQL (querying, reporting support)
  • XML / JSON (parsing/transformations)
  • Familiarity with SFTP, WSDL, and transformation tools such as XSLT
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
