Technical Services Manager

GA Telesis is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our well-known Asset management team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This individual will report to the VP of Technical Asset Management.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform on- and off-site Technical and Records inspections of Aircraft, Engines or Components
• Provide written inspection reports
• Manage assets on lease (claims, inspections, delivery and redelivery)
• Act as on-site technical representative during heavy checks and shop visits
• Manage technical aspects of asset transactions
• Review commercial aircraft and engine records to ensure company assets have complete documentation in support of business and regulatory requirements
• Maintain knowledge of Life Limited Records including Back to Birth Research
• Research Airworthiness Directives and required FAR’s
• Work with Airline, Civil Aviation Authorities and customers as requested
• Streamline work processes working cooperatively and jointly with team to provide quality seamless customer service
• Work with limited assistance and supervision, accurately and timely

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, including physical aircraft inspections
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Able to travel 50-70% of the time; domestic and international
• Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, Word and Access
• Able to solve problems under pressure
• A&P FAA licensed mechanic, engineer or equivalent preferred
• Aircraft or engine trainings preferred
• Borescope experience a plus
