Lead and develop the national technical service organization. Manage field service personnel, technical support activities, and service operations. Improve service procedures, documentation, training programs, and technical knowledge resources. Monitor service performance metrics, response times, and customer satisfaction. Analyze service trends and recurring equipment issues. Drive root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives. Coordinate communication between Service, R&D, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain teams. Support inventory planning and spare parts forecasting based on field service data. Manage customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical issues. Develop and maintain technical service KPIs and reporting systems. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality and operational efficiency. Build strong relationships with customers and channel partners. Present technical and business updates to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain awareness of regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.

A successful Technical Service Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Previous service management or technical support leadership experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems. Experience leading customer-facing technical teams. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities. Experience developing technical training programs and documentation. Excellent customer relationship management skills. Ability to manage technical escalations and drive issue resolution. Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards such as UL, OSHA, and CE. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills. French language skills are a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.
