We’re looking for a HVAC knowledgeable candidate who has problem-solving skills and customer service abilities to join our team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide technical training for customers and company staff
- Develop customer relationships by fielding calls from them and providing technical support
- Provide on-site equipment start-up assistance
- Works closely with vendors to find answers for customers in technical and other needs
- Uncovers and communicates sales and lead information to outside sales staff and management
- Works with inside sales to provide technical support with sales quotes and orders
- Works with area managers to fill in needs of the company in other areas
- Recommends sales promotions, equipment and parts to customers
- Traveling required
- Continuously learning new HVAC technology, government energy programs, sales developments in the area and teaching it first to the rest of the company and then to customers
Qualifications:
- HVAC associates or undergraduate degree
- Minimum of 5 years of technical field experience and other technical experience at HVAC distribution or manufacturing
- Relationship-building skills
- Ability to navigate and learn new computer programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
