Job Title: Technical SEO
Location: San Jose, CA 95110 (Remote)
Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Pay Range: $50.00/hr. to $54.22/hr. on W2
Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card only
 
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
Duties:

• Support internal site migrations, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices throughout the process.
• Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and Google Search Console data.
• Track and optimize technical SEO health, including crawlability, indexation, and site error resolution (404s, 5xx, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Technical SEO team to support research, experimentation, and implementation of new initiatives.
• Partner with content SEO, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of SEO strategies.
• Prioritize and manage the SEO quarterly backlog, focusing on site architecture, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and AI-driven optimizations.

 
Skills:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in similar roles
• Strong proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Search Console, JIRA, and Ahrefs.
• In-depth knowledge of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO strategies.
• Proven track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams across various disciplines.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with effective project management capabilities.

 
Education:

• Bachelor degree in related fields (ideal, however work experience can be a substitute)
