The Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our U.S. subsidiary, Sanz Kenway, Inc.

This is a key role combining engineering, technical sales and customer relationship management. You will manage sales opportunities from the initial RFQ through proposal, negotiation and closing, while working closely with customers and internal teams to develop the right technical solutions.

You will play an important role in understanding customer requirements, translating them into technical solutions and contributing directly to the continued growth of SANZ Clima in the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from assigned customers.
• Conduct discovery meetings and calls to understand customer requirements and project scope.
• Identify key decision-makers, decision-making processes and purchasing criteria.
• Design products according to customer requirements and prepare the necessary documentation for manufacturing.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, providing different options to meet customer needs.
• Manage the negotiation process, clarify customer questions and follow up through to closing.
• Coordinate the prototype development process, ensuring that customer expectations are met in terms of timing and product requirements.
• Ensure that our products and solutions continue to deliver high value and relevance to customers.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the Quality Team when customer claims arise and ensure an appropriate response.
• Represent SANZ Clima at trade shows, exhibitions and promotional events.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience or strong interest in Technical Sales or a related field.
• Experience with pre-sales activities, including customer presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess customer needs and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP and Salesforce is highly desirable.
