About LPSD
The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) is part of Caterpillar's Power & Energy segment. Through this global organization, Caterpillar designs and manufacture large (greater than 18 liters) diesel and natural gas engines, powertrains and key engine systems. LPSD products and solutions support customers across power generation, industrial, marine, oil & gas, rail, services and Cat machine applications worldwide.
Job Summary
As the technical lead for the enterprise, this role is responsible for ensuring that Caterpillar and Perkins are continually compliant with EPA, EU, MLIT (and other) published regulatory requirements related to engine systems assembly that is completed outside any of the engine assembly facilities. This includes the monitoring/directing of all dealers and OEM's to comply with the published Caterpillar/Perkins engine Assembly & Installation (A&I) instructions for all commercial engine applications and to satisfy their contractual obligations to report the installed configuration of both engine and aftertreatment for every engine sold. The output of this role is engine design, sale, and application information that provides evidence of compliance to the respective EPA and EU regulations. This job will close on 10/15/2026 at 11:59pm.
