Technical Recruiter

Location: Santa Cruz, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift

Pay: $50-$75/hour + Performance Incentives

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring efforts across engineering and technology teams. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent, including Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Embedded Systems Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other engineering professionals.

The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands technical skill sets, and excels at building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technical positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and workforce planning goals
  • Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, professional organizations, and other recruiting channels
  • Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate technical experience, qualifications, and overall fit
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance
  • Provide hiring managers with market insights, candidate availability trends, and compensation guidance
  • Build relationships within engineering and technical communities to expand talent networks
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within the ATS
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience focuse
