Description

Compucom’s Technical Recruiter III responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline in your local community, with potential candidates, schools and military installations, to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals.
In this role, you will also oversee junior team member performance as a lead recruiter, instilling best practices, reviewing quality of work and represent your respective team/program as an SME on leadership/client calls. 

***Virtual role, any U.S. location. Preference for candidates located in the Eastern U.S. or able to work Eastern Time Zone hours to support the team.***


 Responsibilities:
  • Edit, Review and post technical job descriptions, including overseeing the work of Junior team members
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms and research potential new sources
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes and share thoughts/feedback to junior team members
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities, including call-shadow training
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured and walk-in, onsite interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
  • Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs and assess recruiter coverage/GEO distribution with management.
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Organize tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals in your local community
  • Compose job offer letters, onboard new hires with the support of HR professionals and review junior team member, work
  • Oversee and review job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
  • Keep up to date with new technological trends and products and train junior team members
  • Meet performance related goals to enhance productivity and success
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter - minimum of 6 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Technical Recruiter, mentoring and training junior team members, while running a recruiting desk, of your own
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype, and structured) and the ability to train on them
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles, including writing and editing and distribution
  • Strong familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Proficient knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and reviewing the same of your junior team members
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation and partnering with the same for program adjustment communications
  • Degree in a directly relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration and/or a combination of education and work experience
 
Wage: The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000-85,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation: This position is also eligible for incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable Company plan.
