Technical Recruiter

The Technical Recruiter is a seasoned specialist who leads the full lifecycle of recruiting actions to attract top talent, build candidate pipelines, serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition best practices and assist with onboarding activities. Minimum of four years recruiting experience with recent experience recruiting Tier III/Subject Matter Expertise roles within the IT field, to include positions within DoE, DoD and IC organizations.

Information Management Group (IMG) is seeking a highly motivated Technical Recruiter to join our team in Fairfax, Va. This on-site position requires a professional who brings strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

 

The Technical Recruiter is a seasoned specialist who leads the full lifecycle of recruiting actions to attract top talent, build candidate pipelines, serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition best practices and assist with onboarding activities.  They will facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates to meet customer timelines and mission needs. 

 

Key Recruiter Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to forecast needs and fill positions efficiently
• Meet the corporate vacancy hiring goal for 14-day time-to-fill
• Provide full recruitment lifecycle, including; requisitions creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, setting salary expectations, offer letter creation and onboarding
• Building talent pipelines through research, referrals, and professional networking
• Attend and assist with job fairs and recruiting events
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and compliance requirements
• Exercise independent judgement in assessing both technical and non-technical competencies and informed hiring recommendations to management

Qualifications:

• Hybrid – 3 days in the office
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of four years recruiting experience with recent experience recruiting Tier III/Subject Matter Expertise roles within the IT field, to include positions within DoE, DoD and IC organizations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
