Job Summary
Drive VAVE, cost reduction, and design-to-cost initiatives for semiconductor capital equipment through BOM/system analysis, should-cost development, technical validation, supplier negotiation, and implementation into high-volume production.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through costed BOM, system design, and equipment analysis.
- Develop VAVE proposals, MCOS/TCOS savings, and should-cost analysis.
- Validate savings through design reviews, calculations, technical justification, and system-level impact analysis.
- Lead supplier cost negotiations and implement cost-reduction designs into production.
- Lead cross-functional teams across ME, EE, Systems, Manufacturing, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain.
- Manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Present cost-saving opportunities and technical recommendations to stakeholders and executives.
- Drive technical problem-solving, risk mitigation, and project execution.
