Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong focus on Information Security to lead and deliver global security initiatives. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of security projects, ensuring alignment with organizational risk, compliance, and infrastructure objectives.
The ideal candidate combines solid project management discipline with hands-on understanding of cybersecurity domains, enabling effective coordination across InfoSec, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead planning and execution of information security projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and success criteria
Develop and maintain core project artifacts including project plans, status reports, communication plans, RAID logs, and risk registers
Manage multiple concurrent projects across global teams, ensuring dependencies and deliverables are tracked and met
Drive accountability across teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
Information Security Program Support
Partner with InfoSec teams to deliver initiatives in areas such as vulnerability management, identity & access management, network security, cloud security, and data protection
Work with the InfoSec SMEs to translate security requirements, policies, and compliance obligations into structured project plans and deliverables
Support risk identification and mitigation activities to protect systems, data, and intellectual property from unauthorized access or exposure
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Serve as the primary interface between InfoSec, IT, and business stakeholders
Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and remediation plans clearly to leadership and stakeholders
Facilitate decision-making and escalation management for critical project risks
Risk & Governance
Proactively identify project risks and drive mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies, security standards, and regulatory/compliance requirements
Support audit readiness and security assessments by coordinating cross-functional inputs
Qualifications
Required
5 7+ years of experience managing IT or technical projects, including security-related initiatives
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and security domains (network, cloud, IAM, data protection)
Ability to translate technical security concepts into business-friendly messaging
Proven experience managing medium-to-large, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
PMP certification or equivalent
Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+)
Experience with security tools/projects (e.g., SIEM, DLP, IAM, endpoint security, cloud security)
Experience supporting audits, compliance programs (SOX, ISO, NIST, etc.), or M&A integration projects
