Description

Job Role: Technical Project Manager IV
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months

The project management role supports the product development team to achieve successful completion of projects according to a defined roadmap. This role will be providing support working under a scrum methodology.

NOTE: Preference for a marketing analytics background, but not required or a strong preference if it would prolong the search

Summary of Day-to-Day Work

  • Manage day-to-day projects planning and management activities through team standups, project management tooling, project meetings, and eliminate/mitigate risks and blockers.
  • Initiate, schedule and conduct program & project meetings and follow-ups with engineers, decision science, business engineers, business analysts, and product managers.
  • Collaborate with teams to create & drive roadmap and related tactical activities against key program/project objectives.
  • Maintain and execute project tracking documents and communications related to roadmap deliverables.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, technical program management, or related fields
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development processes and best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges
  • Self-starter with a bias towards action and a passion for driving results

Must-Have Skills:
Roadmap Operationalization
  • Ability to translate the vision and roadmap into actionable plans.
  • Ensure tactical execution with the team.

Blocker & Dependency Management:
  • Identify blockers and dependencies as they arise.
  • Assess associated risks and proactively address them.

Communication & Adjustment:
  • Facilitate conversations to make necessary adjustments to plans.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align on vision and execution.

Team Collaboration:
  • Work effectively with the team to drive progress.
  • Build on the vision and support tactical operations.

  • Share perspective - able to provide feedback
