Location: Santa Clara, CA - Need Locals to Bay Area, CA - No Relocations
12+ Months Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager / Technical Program Manager to lead complex enterprise technology programs focused on cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, IT operations, and AI-enabled operational initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical program management background with experience coordinating large, cross-functional teams across Cloud, Infrastructure, Engineering, IT Operations, Security, Architecture, and business organizations.

This role requires a strategic program leader who can manage multiple concurrent workstreams, drive governance and execution, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise technology programs from planning through execution and closure.
  • Manage large-scale infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Drive cloud migration programs involving multiple technical teams, platforms, applications, and infrastructure components.
  • Lead AI-enabled operational initiatives, automation programs, and AI-driven IT operations.
  • Manage program scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams across Cloud, Infrastructure, Engineering, IT Operations, Security, Architecture, and Business teams.
  • Establish program governance, operating mechanisms, status reporting, and executive communication.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, technical dependencies, delivery issues, and resource constraints.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, and delivery metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive accountability across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Provide clear executive-level reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement across enterprise technology delivery and operational processes.
  • Ensure programs remain aligned with strategic business and technology objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Technical Program Management, or enterprise technology delivery.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise technology programs.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cloud transformation and migration programs.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, operations, and enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience managing AI-enabled operations, automation, or AI-driven IT initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional technical teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Strong experience managing program scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and executive reporting.
  • Experience working across Cloud, Infrastructure, Engineering, IT Operations, Security, Architecture, and Business organizations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strong governance, risk-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a large SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology organization.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITSM environments.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience leading digital transformation, automation, or AI/GenAI initiatives.
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar program/project management certification.
