    Technical Project Manager

Mid to Senior Level (8 12 years)

    Overview

Technical Project Manager to work alongside senior AI engineers and

architects who run proof-of-concept and prototype work across business units.

The senior AI engineers and architects who run proof-of-concept and prototype work across business units.

The role combines technical project/program management with hands-on ownership of the hackathon and innovation- challenge programs - each making up roughly half of the position's day-to-day responsibilities - including AI-

    powered content production.

Success in this role depends on building credibility and influence with senior, in-demand technical talent. This team responds best to a PM who removes friction, clarifies priorities, and keeps a flexible, low-overhead approach to process.

Pace matters most in this role. The ideal candidate is quick and nimble, comfortable in a high-pace environment,

with a demonstrated ability to turn around assigned work quickly and reliably.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical PM

Manage multiple concurrent proof-of-concept and prototype workstreams across business units with

different stakeholders and different levels of maturity.

Track cross-team risks and dependencies across the engineers and architects contributing to each initiative,

using cross-functional influence to keep work aligned.

Produce and contribute to executive-facing status reporting and communications.

Stay actively engaged with contributors - follow up on task status, keep commitments from slipping, help

the team juggle competing priorities, and surface resource constraints early.

    Post-Handoff Follow-Through

Diligently follow up with business stakeholders after a proof-of-concept or solution has been handed off,

tracking what happens next and keeping the engagement active beyond delivery.

Determine whether the solution was implemented or shelved, whether it requires enhancements, and what

    is blocking further implementation.

Promptly feed this outcome tracking back into Innovation Lab reporting to give leadership visibility into

    downstream impact.

    Hackathon & Innovation Challenge Management

Own end-to-end logistics for hackathons and innovation challenges: participant onboarding, content

creation, timelines, judging criteria and rubrics, and recognition/prize structure.

Run live office hours to support participants troubleshooting platform and workflow issues in real time.

Develop deep working fluency in whatever platform is used to run challenges and be ready to pivot to a

new platform on short notice if needed.

Write clear challenge briefs and evaluation criteria so outcomes are defensible and reusable beyond the

    event itself.

    AI-Powered Content Production

Act as a genuine power user of AI tools to produce polished on-demand content: short videos, podcast-style

audio, presentation decks, written team success stories, dashboards, and more.

Maintain a repeatable production workflow that turns raw material into a script or narrative and then into a

    finished, polished output.

Rapidly learn and adopt new AI, multimedia, and project management tools as they emerge, diving in with

trial and error, driven by curiosity and enthusiasm for new tech.

    Hands-On Technical Build

Build lightweight dashboards or small websites independently, using AI and no-code/low-code tools.

Publish and maintain content on SharePoint.

Turn around requests quickly, reflecting the fast pace of the role.

    Required Qualifications

Fast-paced, nimble working style, with a demonstrated ability to turn around assigned work quickly and

    reliably in a high-pace environment.

8 12 years of technical project/program management experience, ideally including proof-of-concept or

    early-stage innovation work.

Demonstrated experience leading senior, highly autonomous technical talent through influence, credibility,

    and trust.

Direct experience planning and running at least one hackathon, innovation challenge, or comparable

    structured competitive event.

Hands-on ability to build and publish lightweight dashboards or small websites and using SharePoint.

A portfolio or work samples demonstrating hands-on use of AI tools to produce video, audio, presentation,

    or written content.

Strong executive communication skills, written and verbal.

Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting scope typical of early-stage/POC work.

Experience following up on delivered work after handoff to track adoption and implementation status.

Experience in a regulated industry (healthcare, insurance, financial services).

Strong familiarity with GenAI/AI product development patterns and terminology.

Prior experience working as an embedded contractor alongside internal teams.
