    Description

    Technical Project Lead

    Location: Remote, Washington, DC

    Duration: 12 months

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead end-to-end delivery for application teams, coordinating across departments and vendors.
    • Translate business goals into actionable plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
    • Manage cross-functional planning and dependencies across various teams.
    • Provide regular status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
    • Ensure a steady workflow by aligning priorities and capacity with technical leads.
    • Support planning by coordinating inputs from engineering and architecture teams.
    • Coordinate release readiness, including environment preparation and post-release stabilization.
    • Assist in production operations and incident management with effective communication and prioritization.
    • Identify technical requirements for software, hardware, and supplier services.
    • Drive continuous improvement in delivery execution and operational readiness.

    Required Skills:

    • 7–10 years of experience in technology delivery roles.
    • Proven leadership through influence and cross-functional coordination.
    • Strong capability in translating requirements into actionable plans.
    • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience with AI-enabled tools.
    • Strong delivery discipline in planning, scope control, and risk management.
    • Ability to lead teams through change and improve delivery methodologies.
    • Technical fluency across SDLC and modern delivery practices.
    • Strong executive communication skills for presenting status and recommendations.
    • Experience with work management and ITSM tools, and producing delivery artifacts.
    • Scrum certification and/or scaled Agile experience preferred.
    • Experience in high-availability environments and incident response.
    • Incorporating security, privacy, and performance requirements into delivery.
    • Experience in cost measurement and reduction through optimization and automation.
