Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to identify an IT Site Program Manager, Global Workplace Technology. This senior-level position owns end-to-end technology delivery for global real estate initiatives, including new office buildouts, relocations, consolidations, and workplace modernization programs. Serving as the single point of contact for all IT-related decisions throughout the real estate project lifecycle, this individual partners closely with I&O leadership to ensure technology standards are consistently applied across all sites worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT project delivery for global real estate projects including new office builds, major renovations, relocations, and site consolidations.
- Support M&A and integration efforts by assessing and deploying IT infrastructure at acquired or conveyed sites aligned with integration timelines and TSA exit plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, risk registers, and budget forecasts (CapEx and OpEx) across concurrent initiatives.
- Manage site technology readiness checklists and cutover playbooks to ensure Day 1 go-live readiness at new or transitioned locations.
- Coordinate with regional IT teams, third-party vendors (including vendor SOWs and contracts), and Global Real Estate stakeholders to deliver seamless, on-time results.
- Serve as the primary IT liaison to Global Real Estate and Facilities leadership, translating business needs into technology solutions and presenting project status, risks, and decisions to executive sponsors.
- Define and enforce IT infrastructure standards for workplace environments - including network (LAN/WAN/NAC), AV/VC, access control, print, and end-user compute - while driving adoption of smart building technologies and IoT solutions.
- Advance cybersecurity posture at new and renovated sites by implementing zero-trust network access (ZTNA), conditional access policies, and NAC frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience with a demonstrated focus on corporate real estate, facilities, or workplace technology programs in a global enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of workplace IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN networking, AV/VC systems, structured cabling, access control, and end-user compute.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent); PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred) and ITIL-aligned service delivery practices; ITIL Foundation certification a plus.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets (CapEx and OpEx) and establishing project governance frameworks aligned with corporate PMO standards.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions; experience supporting M&A site integration and familiarity with LEED, WELL, or sustainability certifications a plus.
Compensation
$75-80/hour- Dependent on fit and experience
