Description

Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Onsite Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $55-65/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives across engineering, operations, product, and business teams. This role will focus on driving large-scale programs involving device management, security, compliance, infrastructure, and software engineering, ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, securely, and at scale.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working directly with engineering teams, and experienced in bringing structure to complex programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, complex technical programs from initial planning through successful delivery across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery schedules.
  • Partner closely with software engineering and technical teams to drive execution, resolve blockers, and coordinate releases.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, operations, product, security, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and program risks while developing contingency plans for critical issues.
  • Establish and improve scalable processes, workflows, and operating mechanisms that increase program efficiency and predictability.
  • Partner with technical leaders and senior stakeholders to communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Develop and maintain program metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to measure performance, compliance, and operational health.
  • Analyze operational and technical data to identify trends, prioritize initiatives, and inform program decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across program management practices, release processes, and operational workflows.
  • Manage multiple concurrent priorities while balancing immediate operational needs with longer-term strategic initiatives.

Day-to-Day

In this role, you will work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to drive technical programs related to device fleet management, security, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will participate in technical and program reviews, coordinate engineering deliverables and release schedules, monitor program health and compliance metrics, and work with stakeholders to address risks and technical challenges.

The role requires someone who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly technical environment while creating structure around ambiguous problems and driving programs to completion.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing complex programs across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building scalable processes and coordinating software or technical release schedules.
  • Strong understanding of software development and engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience applying project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects across multiple cross-functional organizations.
  • Experience building sustainable processes and operating mechanisms for large-scale programs.
  • Experience defining and managing KPIs and SLAs to measure program and operational performance.
  • Experience presenting program status, metrics, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience with security, compliance, device management, endpoint management, infrastructure, or enterprise technology programs.
  • Experience working in highly regulated, security-sensitive, or technically complex environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
