Our engineering team is seeking a very technical, hands-on, results driven program manager to support the team developing a next-generation Car Infotainment applications and services. This individual will partner with crossfunctional teams in aligning organizational capabilities to deliver on key product initiatives and our product roadmaps.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create detailed program and project plans spanning product, engineering, and business deliverables, identifying resource requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies and key risks.
• Work closely with product management, user experience, and other engineering teams to define the scope and strategy of product releases, and track engineering tasks through software development.
• Manage program deliverables from external partners and vendors, as required.
• Manage scope and evaluate priorities to efficiently balance resources.
• Identification of opportunities for improvement, innovation, and cost reductions.
• Energetic team player with excellent written, verbal and conceptual skills
• Willingness to learn fast with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” attitude.
• Will need to work independently but communicate status, risks, and issues to management.
• Work closely with Client and Server development teams.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Software development experience is a must.
• 5+ years in software project or program management experience is a must.
• Previous experience working with media applications.
• Previous experience managing 3rd party deliverables.
• Previous experience working with cloud backends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and work in team environment; work across departments.
• Must be well versed in sound software development and testing practices.
• Mature communicator of project risks and options.
• Must have outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and research skills.
