Position Summary
  • Seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive complex B2B technology programs across product, engineering, R&D and business organizations.
  • The TPM will partner closely with engineering, product management, QA, business development, sales and global teams to drive execution of enterprise software/platform initiatives from planning through launch.
  • This person will establish program plans, manage technical dependencies and risks, align global stakeholders, and ensure products and services are delivered against business and technical objectives.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with excellent program leadership and is comfortable operating across geographically distributed and cross-cultural organizations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs involving enterprise software, platforms, cloud services and/or mobile technologies.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Sales and business stakeholders to define program scope, priorities, milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, dependencies, risks and execution metrics.
  • Drive alignment between U.S. teams, Samsung headquarters/Korea and global R&D organizations.
  • Translate business/product objectives into executable technical programs and ensure alignment between engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Identify program risks, technical dependencies and execution blockers and drive teams toward resolution.
  • Lead recurring program reviews and communicate status, risks, tradeoffs and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate product development and release readiness across engineering, QA and partner teams.
  • Establish and improve program management processes, governance and operating rhythms.
  • Partner with Product Management on roadmaps, prioritization, customer requirements and product strategy.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced R&D/product development environment.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, KPIs and program reporting.
  • Build strong relationships across internal organizations and external technology/business partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of technical program/project management, product development or related experience.
  • Strong experience managing software/platform/cloud/mobile product development programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with engineering teams and understand technical architectures, dependencies and tradeoffs.
  • Experience leading complex programs across global/distributed engineering organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile development methodologies.
