Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor precision coating machines, ensuring adherence to process protocols
- Inspect, clean, and load parts into coating chambers for production cycles
- Perform routine maintenance, including assembly/disassembly and bead blasting of equipment
- Execute in-process measurements and quality checks on coated materials
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues as skills advance
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures
- Use grinders, small hand tools, and perform data entry/reporting as needed
- Flexibly adapt to changing production tasks and shift requirements
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant technician, coating, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move fluidly between tasks
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail
- Basic math and intermediate computer proficiency (Excel, data entry)
- Strong communication skills for team and small group collaboration
- Ability to read/interpret safety, operating, and maintenance documents
- Willingness and ability to work any available shift as listed
- Eligible for security clearance
Preferred Skills
- One-year technical certificate or college coursework
- Prior experience in coating or related technology fields
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
