Responsibilities
- Assemble miniature electronic and electro-mechanical components using microscopes and specialized tools
- Perform modifications, rework, and quality testing on developmental and prototype units
- Collaborate closely with development and manufacturing engineering teams to meet project goals
- Adapt to changing part conditions and address detailed part inconsistencies efficiently
- Ensure precision and quality in every assembly, supporting preproduction and manufacturing operations
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years experience with SMT, PCB rework/assembly, medical device assembly, jewelry making, or watch repair
- Proficient in microscope-based assembly and visual inspection of miniature components
- Demonstrated precise hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- Able to adapt to evolving technical conditions and part variations
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ISO or clean room environments
- IPC J-STD-001 solder certification
- Advanced skills in assembling miniature parts using microscopes
