Job Summary: Senior SAP ABAP Developer - Orlando, FL
About the Role
Join the Aero ERP IT team as a Senior SAP Developer and play a critical role in supporting sustainment and MM O&M activities within a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. Leverage your deep expertise in SAP ABAP and related technologies to drive impactful business solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP ABAP solutions across R/3 and ECC 6.0 environments.
- Build and configure custom Fiori/UI5 applications, DAP Fiori Launchpad, and SAP Personas for enhanced user experiences.
- Execute comprehensive technical analysis, gather business requirements, and author detailed solution designs and technical specifications.
- Develop and modify function modules, BAPIs, IDocs, EDI, BADIs, user exits, enhancements, ALV grid reports, OO‑ABAP, and custom screens.
- Conduct rigorous unit testing, manage transports, and resolve technical defects promptly.
- Create and maintain SAP CDS views and Calculation views using SAP Web IDE and Hana Studio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support SAP MM, PP, PS, PM, FI, CO, and SD modules.
- Maintain development status using Solution Manager, Rev Trac, and Jira.
- Provide clear, proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development in R/3 environments.
- Advanced experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and full implementation life cycles.
- Strong proficiency in Fiori/UI5 development, SAP Personas, and DAP Fiori Launchpad configuration.
- Broad SAP module knowledge: MM, PP, PS, PM, FI, CO, SD.
- Proven ability to deliver technical analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.
- Expert in ABAP technical objects, enhancements, OO‑ABAP, ALV, BDCs, and authorization objects.
- Skilled in SAP CDS views, Calculation views, SAP Web IDE, and Hana Studio.
- Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Solution Manager, Rev Trac, Jira.
