Join a dynamic team as a Material Expeditor in Grand Prairie, TX. As a vital link in the global supply chain, you will oversee material flow, expedite shipments, and ensure timely delivery of parts to meet critical production schedules. This role offers hands-on opportunities to collaborate across departments and make a direct impact on production efficiency. [Responsibilities]
- Oversee global material flow, expediting, and routing for production schedules
- Review master production schedule to identify and address material shortages
- Alert stakeholders to potential or actual shortages and initiate corrective actions
- Order material repairs and coordinate in-house transportation as needed
- Generate and maintain progress reports on schedule status and completed orders
- Document material changes, substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve material issues via phone and email
- Drive to East Camden, AR, and/or Lufkin, TX as needed during assignments
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Material Expeditor role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to work onsite at least 2 days per week, with willingness for up to 4 days as required
