[Responsibilities]
- Perform detailed visual and mechanical inspections of in-process and completed products using calibrated measuring devices
- Identify, accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units in accordance with prescribed specifications
- Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, inspection instructions, and checklists to verify product compliance
- Document inspection results, including noted defects and rework activities
- Monitor quality control procedures, including statistical process controls when required
- Collaborate with production teams to uphold quality standards and drive process improvements
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience (in-process, final, or receiving)
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications
- Skilled in using dial indicators, micrometers, scales, and other calibrated inspection equipment
- High School diploma or equivalent
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with SAP, Solumina, or similar ERP systems
- Background in documenting defects and production processes
- Familiarity with microscope visual inspection
- Certifications: IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001
