    Job Summary:

    The Treasury Technical Product Owner serves as the strategic bridge between Treasury business objectives, treasury management product strategy, technology execution, regulatory expectations, and portfolio governance. This role is accountable for translating demand across treasury management, cash management, payments, receivables, payables, liquidity services, fraud prevention, client channels, operations, risk, and vendor platforms into secure, scalable, compliant, and actionable technical solutions. The TPO connects strategy, technology, execution, and governance to help Treasury technology teams deliver measurable business value while protecting client trust, operational resilience, payment integrity, and regulatory compliance.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Connect Treasury business strategy, treasury management product priorities, technology strategy, engineering execution, risk management, regulatory expectations, and portfolio governance to ensure product work is aligned to enterprise and commercial client priorities.
    • Facilitate the translation of Treasury demand into actionable technical solutions, user stories, acceptance criteria, controls, data needs, and implementation-ready work items.
    • Own and manage the Treasury technology work queue and product backlog in partnership with the Business Product Owner, including intake, refinement, prioritization, sequencing, readiness for delivery, and alignment with client, operational, revenue, compliance, and risk outcomes.
    • Support roadmap planning and communication by aligning Treasury priorities, delivery capacity, technical dependencies, funding considerations, regulatory timelines, vendor commitments, client impacts, and risk exposure.
    • Coordinate solution design across engineering leads, architects, business analysts, Treasury operations, implementation teams, client servicing, cybersecurity, compliance, fraud, risk, audit, QA, vendors, and other banking technology partners.
    • Guide technical decomposition of Treasury needs into platform, API, file transmission, host-to-host, online channel, data, reporting, payment processing, integration, non-functional, security, resiliency, scalability, privacy, and operational requirements.
    • Partner with engineering leadership on capacity and technical resource planning to ensure the right Treasury capabilities are delivered at the right time for maximum business value, client impact, revenue enablement, and risk reduction.
    • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, blockers, technical debt, architectural constraints, data impacts, vendor constraints, payment processing impacts, control gaps, and delivery trade-offs early in the lifecycle.
    • Ensure alignment with architecture standards, technology governance checkpoints, cybersecurity expectations, regulatory requirements, audit expectations, data protection standards, disaster recovery needs, payment security, and operational readiness criteria.
    • Support delivery cadence through sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, demos, release planning, change management, client impact assessment, implementation readiness, operational readiness, and production support transition activities.
    • Provide leadership with actionable governance insights related to Treasury demand, capacity, progress, risks, dependencies, funding alignment, regulatory commitments, vendor constraints, client impacts, revenue enablement, and value delivery.
    • Maintain clear documentation, decision records, requirements traceability, control evidence, test alignment, payment flow documentation, implementation readiness artifacts, and audit-ready materials to support transparency, compliance, and ongoing Treasury product accountability.
