Job Summary
  • 1. Work with technical and non-technical partners to bring consumer and agent marketing campaign strategies to life.
  • Lead programs and projects complex in nature, not necessarily following repeatable framework, and that typically span multiple business units.
  • Manage areas of responsibility in enterprise-wide IT enhancement projects to support marketing campaigns leading cross functional teams spanning technical development, go-to-market, and operations.
  • Accountable for implementing product offers and promotions for the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY portfolio of services, delivering 2-4 projects quarterly.
  • Responsible for consumer lifecycle implementation of new ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY products, promotions, offers and rate changes and the system development of rating and promotional capabilities for the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY portfolio of services.
  • Responsible for breaking down business needs into technical requirements for IT through creation of features, user stories and other templates to ensure that technical requirements represent the business and broader needs of the cross-functional team.
  • Job duties include defining and refining hundreds of offer attributes and variables for marketing requests.
  • Responsible for gaining requirements alignment and communicating offers and product requirements across various organizations including Strategy, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Customer Care/Sales Operations, and Legal.
  • Provide continuing product surveillance and management of established products to attain financial objectives.
  • Manages cross-functional teams through functional requirements gathering, implementation and validation through to initial launch or lifecycle of a service or promotion.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams on technical solutions.
  • Actively participate and consult in quarterly PI Planning.
  • Conduct ongoing risk analysis and recommend alternative options to influence decisions.
  • Play a consultative role with marketing partners to identify solutions that achieve the business goal on as needed basis.
  • Act as a liaison to clients and other business units as a subject matter expert on ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY products, services, and offers.
  • Act as the foremost expert within the product development discipline and an acknowledged authority within the organization on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide weekly readout to leadership level regarding products and promotions as assigned.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal/external clients and business/IT partners, engaging with different functional teams and business units to drive business.

    Skills Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented, as well as ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead projects across multiple organizations such as IT, Sales Operations, and Marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and to articulate technical requirements through clear documentation.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skill and good judgement to risk mitigate complex issues overcoming roadblocks.
  • Confidence and experience presenting and interacting across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with technical managers and application developers, balanced with ability to concisely articulate through verbal communication and presentation to non-technical stakeholders and senior level executives.
  • Flexibility to accommodate change and adapt accordingly.
  • Leadership qualities including ability to motivate others, inspire teams to a common goal, and overcome group roadblocks.
  • Advanced leadership including conflict resolution, senior leader relationship management, and risk mitigation.
  • ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY and/or U-verse billing and ordering experience or equivalent.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in learning new systems and applications (customer care, ordering, billing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

    Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of multiple lines of the consumer business including ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY and U-verse programming, packages and products.
  • A working knowledge of C3, STMS, Enabler, Evergent, ETM, LS-CRM, OMS, Online, Salesforce and/or front-end ordering systems.
  • Ability to analyze market data and reporting.
  • Experience working in Agile environment and JIRA.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Excel.
