Technical Product Manager – Enterprise Platforms & Enablement

Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, distributed architecture (including firewalls, cloud connectivity, VLANs, network segmentation, access security, and operational availability). - Prioritize product features and user stories for multiple technical teams, considering business value, technical feasibility, operational risk, and customer feedback.

Job Summary (List Format): Technical Product Manager Network & Infrastructure Platforms

- Drive enterprise platform initiatives focused on Connectivity, Secure/Compliant Access, Reliability, and Continuous Operations within the Connecting Amtrak value stream.
- Apply best-in-class Product Management practices to develop and execute multi-year product strategies aligned with enterprise and technology roadmaps.
- Prioritize product features and user stories for multiple technical teams, considering business value, technical feasibility, operational risk, and customer feedback.
- Mentor and lead established Product Owners within Agile Release Trains, translating strategic objectives into actionable delivery backlogs.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, Engineering, Architecture, Agility Enablement, and Operations to deliver cohesive platform solutions.
- Champion the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to ensure agile maturity, participate in PI Planning, and establish predictable team cadence.
- Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational success metrics to measure platform value and outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, bridging business objectives with technical infrastructure topics and advocating for ITSM and change management best practices.
- Maintain proficiency in tools such as Jira Software, Jira Align, Confluence, FigJam, and AgilityHealth for effective team collaboration and product management.
- Communicate effectively with executive leaders, facilitate workshops, and make data-driven decisions to guide product direction.

Qualifications:
- 9 12+ years of progressive experience in technical product management and leadership roles.
- Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, distributed architecture (including firewalls, cloud connectivity, VLANs, network segmentation, access security, and operational availability).
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), operational readiness, and enterprise change management.
- Extensive experience with SAFe Agile frameworks; SAFe POPM certification preferred.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and analytical skills; ITIL certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent senior-level applied experience.
