Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our Commercial Card portfolio. This role is responsible for managing quarterly releases for Wells One Expense Manager (WOEM) across Wells Fargo and Visa platforms, while also serving as project manager for key initiatives including Digital Wallet and Virtual Card Program (VCP) enhancements.

The ideal candidate brings strong Commercial Card industry knowledge, proven project and release management experience, and the ability to effectively partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Project & Release Management

• Lead multiple strategic initiatives and technology releases.

• Own quarterly WOEM release planning, coordination, testing, readiness, and implementation activities.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Facilitate release management discussions with Wells Fargo, Visa, Product, and Technology teams.

• Ensure successful delivery of browser, desktop, and mobile application releases.

Product Delivery & Agile Execution

• Support intake, prioritization, and backlog management processes.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver committed outcomes.

• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums meetings and manage dependencies, blockers, and escalations.

• Ensure compliance with Jira standards, documentation requirements, and governance processes.

• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across teams.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Visa, and Mastercard stakeholders.

• Provide project status updates, release communications, and leadership reporting.

• Serve as the SME for release management and applicable policies/procedures.

• Lead meetings, drive decisions, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Experience managing complex projects and technology releases in a large enterprise environment.

• Strong knowledge of Commercial Card products, expense management solutions, virtual cards, and payment ecosystems.

• Proven ability to manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional delivery.

• Experience partnering with Product and Technology teams to translate business needs into executable solutions.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with Commercial Cards, Virtual Card Programs, Digital Wallets, or Wells One Expense Manager (WOEM). (preferred)

• Familiarity with Visa and Mastercard payment products and release processes. (preferred)

• Experience in Agile environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. (preferred)

• Background working within a large financial institution.
