Overview
The Technical Product Director is responsible for technical execution, architecture, and delivery outcomes for a product team. This role partners closely with Product Management and Product Design to build scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes—not just features.
As a hands-on technical leader, the Director ensures products are built with strong engineering practices that balance speed, quality, security, and reliability. The role also aligns product architecture with enterprise standards while managing dependencies, risks, and compliance requirements.
Description:- Own technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for product teams
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems in cloud-native environments
- Partner with Product and Design to drive discovery, delivery, and outcomes
- Ensure engineering excellence across DevOps, SRE, and secure-by-design practices
- Align product architecture with enterprise standards and manage system dependencies
- Identify and manage technical risks, including security and compliance (e.g., SOX)
- Coach and mentor engineers, raising technical standards across teams
- Influence enterprise architecture and practices where needed
Requirements- 6+ years of experience leading product technology teams
- Proven success in continuous discovery and delivery environments
- Strong expertise in system design, architecture, and cloud-native technologies
- Deep understanding of DevOps, SRE, and modern engineering practices
- Experience driving secure, scalable, and compliant solutions
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and scale technical teams
