    Job Description
    We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Docker to lead development efforts and provide advanced Level 2 support for mission-critical applications. This role involves guiding a development/support team, debugging complex issues, architecting cloud-based solutions, and ensuring smooth production operations for a major financial services client (Fiserv). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding ability, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting large-scale applications in an Agile environment. A deep understanding of SQL/PLSQL, microservices, and cloud-native deployment practices is essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the design and development of Java/Spring Boot applications and microservices.
    • Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
    • Utilize Docker and container orchestration tools for efficient deployment.
    • Provide L1/L2 support, resolving complex issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or failures.
    • Manage incident, problem, and change requests in alignment with ITIL processes.
    • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless issue resolution.
    • Support application deployments, patching, and upgrade cycles.
    • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and standard procedures.
    • Participate in on-call rotation and handle after-hours support as needed.
    • Coordinate with clients, provide timely updates, and manage escalations professionally.
    • Work on process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline support activities.
    • (Preferred) Working knowledge of Oracle EBS for cross-system troubleshooting.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture.
    • Expertise in Docker, containerization, and orchestration tools.
    • Strong debugging experience with SQL and PLSQL for identifying and resolving complex issues.
    • Experience providing L1/L2 application support in high-availability environments.
    • Solid understanding of system monitoring, incident/problem/change management (ITIL).
    • Proven ability to lead teams, mentor developers, and deliver results in Agile environments.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • AWS Certification preferred; experience with Oracle EBS is a plus.
