Title: Technical Lead/Application Architect

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid – 4days/ week onsite – 1 day/week remote)
Contract Duration: October 2026 to March 2028 (with strong possibility of an extension)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design, development, and delivery of modern enterprise web applications. This role requires a hands-on technology leader with deep expertise in Angular, Node.js, cloud-native development, and enterprise integration, combined with a passion for mentoring teams and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, architecture, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale web applications.
Design and develop robust frontend solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern responsive design principles.
Build and support backend services using Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures.
Drive architectural decisions and establish scalable, reusable, and maintainable application frameworks.
Design secure application architectures incorporating industry-standard authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Integrate web applications with enterprise APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and backend systems.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions to ensure engineering excellence.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Champion best practices in application security, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.
Partner with DevOps and platform teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
Mentor developers, foster technical growth, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms to improve productivity and code quality.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver business value.

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Solution Lead, or comparable hands-on leadership role.
Strong expertise in:
- Angular
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- RxJS
- HTML5
- CSS/SCSS
- Node.js
- Express.js
Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and BFF architectures.
Proven experience building scalable and reusable frontend architectures using component-based frameworks and responsive design patterns.
Strong understanding of enterprise application security, including:
- SAML
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- JWT
- Session and cookie management
- CORS
- OWASP security standards
Experience integrating applications with microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- S3
- CloudFront
- API Gateway
- Lambda
- CloudWatch
Experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing frameworks
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Observability and monitoring platforms
- DevOps and DevSecOps practices
Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
Experience with Next.js, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), or Micro-Frontend architectures.
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic workflows
- AWS Bedrock or comparable AI platforms
Web, Cloud, Security, or AI-related certifications.
