    Overview of Opportunity

    Two Six Technologies is seeking a Technical Experimentation Planner to work onsite at our Arlington, VA location. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the field deployment, operational testing, and tactical integration strategies for a high-priority government customer program.

    Acting as the bridge between advanced engineering, product management, and real-world mission execution, you will lead the end-to-end pilot lifecycle. You will blend the skills of an operational planner with the mindset of an Agile Product Owner-translating field friction into technical requirements, prioritizing capabilities, and ensuring rapid, iterative delivery in alignment with aggressive deployment timelines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Unified Deployment Execution: Establish, own, and execute the comprehensive pilot plan. Synchronize multi-phase operations, live testing, and field exercises with the overarching program schedule and customer milestones.
    • Product Owner & Requirements Leadership: Act as the primary conduit between operators and developers. Discover, refine, and translate complex customer operational friction points into actionable engineering specifications, user stories, and software/hardware requirements. Manage and prioritize competing technical priorities in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
    • Operational Readiness: Translate high-level operational requirements and performance targets into field-tested deployment blueprints, ensuring maximum mission readiness and system validation in relevant environments.
    • Feedback Loop & Iteration: Gather client feature requests and field observations to drive rapid, iterative system enhancements with engineering teams. Support the integration of Two Six Technology solutions into broader Non-Kinetic capabilities and programs.
    • Metrics & Technical Validation: Establish, measure, and track rigorous customer satisfaction and system performance metrics during pilot phases to prove technical efficacy.
    • Strategic Briefings & Project Management: Perform core project management functions including identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting for client engagements. Develop technical documentation and deliver compelling project briefings and system demonstrations to diverse government and non-government stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years experience supporting the Information Warfare community; such as Space, Electromagnetic Warfare, Cyber, Cryptology and Signals Intelligence, Military Deception, and Information Operations
    • 2+ years experience supporting an Operational or Combatant Command staff; previous Operational or Combatant Command Staff experience and knowledge of key battle rhythm events that support warfighting.
    • The ability for travel greater than 25%
    • Strong, results-oriented work ethic and customer service orientation.
    • Active DoD Secret security clearance and with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance are required up to TS/SCI and poly

    Nice to Have:

    • Joint Fires: Joint Fires and Effects Course (JFEC), Joint Integrated Fires and Effects Course (JIFEC), Joint Staff Action Officer Course (JSAOC), or Maritime Staff Operators Course (MSOC).
    • Space Planning: Joint Space Planner Course (JSPC), Maritime Space Operations Integration Course (MSOPIC), Space Operations Officer Qualification Course (SOOQC), or Naval Space Operations Course (NSOC).
    • Deep understanding of the Joint Fires process for both Kinetic and Non-Kinetic operations.
    • Experience supporting Operational and Combatant Command exercises and technical experiments.
    • Familiarity with the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) organizational construct, cyberspace operations tools, or experience in system/network administration and incident response.
    • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments and utilizing Atlassian collaboration tools (Jira/Confluence) to manage backlogs.
    • Programming and query language experience is a strong plus (e.g., Python, SQL).
