Technical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist with expertise in Hair Care technology to support our client’s document management, technical writing, and compliance initiatives. Required Qualifications: Solid working knowledge of Hair Care technology , hair structure and function, technical methods, and performance endpoints.

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist with expertise in Hair Care technology to support our client’s document management, technical writing, and compliance initiatives. This role requires solid knowledge of hair science, technical methods, claim support processes, and documentation systems.
 
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2) | approximate 2-Month Assignment
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, label, categorize, archive, and retrieve technical documents.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and documentation databases.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, integrity, version control, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop long-term document storage and retention strategies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Control document access and remove obsolete records.
• Perform document transcription, conversion, and proofreading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent documentation practices.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Solid working knowledge of Hair Care technology, hair structure and function, technical methods, and performance endpoints.
• Experience with the Hair Care POC system of record and claim support processes.
• Excellent technical writing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and accountable professional.
• Experience managing regulated technical documentation and audit readiness.
