Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Technical Designer-Catia, you will:
- Designing and developing next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.
- Assists to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
- Assists in the development of new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort
- Develops, maintains and modifies interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with CATIA design in Aerospace/Aviation field.
- Support within a production/manufacturing system for Aerospace/Aviation Industry.
- 3+ years of experience with Part/product design or integration.
- Experience supporting the validation of compliance to regulatory requirements
- Design for manufacturing (DFM) experience.
- Model based design and/or systems engineering experience.
Preferred skill sets:
- Experience working with Visual Basic, Python, Java experience, Model based design and systems engineering, or Relational design.
- Associates degree.
- Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release.
