Title : Technical Designer 3
Location: Everett, WA and Renton, WA
Salary Range:$40 to $45/hr on w2-Competitive and commensurate with experience
Introduction
The Payloads Organization is seeking experienced Technical Designers to join our dynamic teams. We are responsible for the interiors of airplanes, cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety. Our work shapes the public's flight experience and helps airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a technical field
- Experience with CATIA
- Support within a production/manufacturing system
- Part or product design or integration
- Prior work experience in aerospace or related industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of experience in technical design, including modeling and technical integration
- Aerospace interiors, materials, and properties
- Experience working with Visual Basic, Python, Java, Model-based design, and systems engineering
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements
- Develop and maintain interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools
- Collaborate with project engineering, production engineering, program/product teams, management, and technical staff
