Description

Our Client, a Financial company, is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager V for their Detroit, MI location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet their automation needs AND manage the stakeholder relationship
  • Organize workstream and deliverables into roadmaps, timelines, and leader views
  • Manage dependencies, product interlock, and other delivery issues.
  • Single point of contact for delivery of Automation work. (intake, output, status)
  • Hands to keyboards contribution of Power Platform and Python where needed.
  • Bring skills and training for data capabilties in SNOWFLAKE and other tools, using wider org and enterprise datasets; to expand team skillset and build documentation.
  • Best practices AI utilization to accelerate delivery and problem triage (including upskill of team members)
  • Provides technical delivery coordination and oversight for business automation development initiatives to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that meet evolving business requirements.
  • May be responsible for single technical projects of medium to high complexity, a small technical program, or a group of smaller, unrelated technical projects; manages interdependencies between projects and outside delivery efforts.
  • Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks, escalating issues/risks when appropriate.
  • Works with technical teams, which may include Client employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress.
  • Partners effectively with technical leaders, counterparts and business partners to present unified BDR perspective to the business.
  • Run, manage and sustain technology delivery projects.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure the program body of work is deployed successfully with highest quality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customer, executive management, direct reports, peers, and technology vendors.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to execute and deliver on multiple development projects simultaneously.
 
Requirements:

  • Data Analysis, Reporting & Process Improvement (ideally via automation)
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to independently decompose ambiguous business problems
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data analysis experience using SQL and/or BI tools
  • Process improvement and operational optimization experience
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable workstreams and requirements
  • Experience creating KPI frameworks, scorecards, and performance reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to improve workflows through reporting enhancements, automation, scripting, or process redesign
  • Desired Skills:
  • Financial modeling and business case development
  • Strategy consulting or internal consulting experience
  • Exposure to automation tools, workflow automation, or light application development
  • Experience using Python, SQL, AI-assisted tools, or similar technologies to improve reporting and operational efficiency
  • Product management exposure
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Experience working with technology delivery teams
  • Advanced analytics experience
  • Experience evaluating organizational effectiveness and operating models
