    Technical Delivery Manager, Digital Commerce

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Manage the delivery of new features and enhancements on Upbounds e-commerce platform.
    • Lead initiatives focused on seamless shopping experience for customers.
    • Identify opportunities, solve problems, and develop new propositions that drive value for customers.
    • Lead the technology development and maintenance of the e-commerce platform, including website development, user experience, security, and site maintenance.
    • Analyze market trends and technologies to stay ahead of the technology curve.
    • Set and deliver goals for technological growth and innovation.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, and deliverables of an e-commerce initiative.
    • Establish timelines and milestones, and track the projects progress against the plan.
    • Implement Agile and Scrum methodology.
    • Manage the development and testing teams.
    • Facilitate communication and ensure that everyone is working towards the same objectives.
    • Lead and nurture a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Act as a bridge between the engineering, product, UX, marketing, and Digital Experience teams.
    • Ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
    • Provide status updates on e-commerce initiatives to stakeholders.
    • Improve the quality of engineering delivery to ensure the end product meets stakeholders expectations.
    • Manage projects within the budget and resources of engineering delivery.
    • Allocate tasks to team leaders and provide period status updates on budget tracking.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Technology Management, or a related field and 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.
    • OR Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management or a related field and 2 years of experience in Software Engineering.

    Experience to include the following (5 years with Bachelors or 2 years with Masters):

    • Working in the retail domain, specifically in Ecommerce Workflow.
    • Using at least one of the following commercial ecommerce platforms: SAP B2C Commerce Cloud, Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Magento (Adobe Commerce), or BigCommerce.
    • Managing end-to-end integration with third-party services/applications.
    • Utilizing at least one of the following relational database management systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
    • Agile and Scrum methodologies and understanding of JIRA dashboards, filters, and custom queries (JQL).
    • Managing teams, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical goals with business objectives.
    • Optimizing performance including security and user experience.
    • Supporting business scalability.
    • Handling real-time operational challenges.
    • Applying Ecommerce fundamentals including product catalog, search and discover, cart, checkout, funnel management, improving conversion strategies and commerce analytics.
