    Position Description:

    Highly organized and business focused Technical Delivery Manager to coordinate and drive technology and transformation initiative. This role combines project management, business analysis, delivery coordination, and transformation partner alignment. The successful candidate will interface with internal business partners to gather and document requirements, maintain project plans for active initiatives, manage the intake queue for incoming requests, coordinate workflow for a small team of developers, and provide clear weekly reporting on delivery status, risks, and priorities.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Business Partnership & Requirements Management

    . Serve as a primary point of contact for internal business partners to understand business objectives, process challenges, and desired outcomes.

    . Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and working meetings to gather, clarify, and validate business requirements.

    . Document business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, dependencies, and open questions.

    . Translate business needs into clear, actionable work items that can be understood and executed by technical teams.

    . Maintain requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle and support change control when scope or priorities shift.

    Project Planning & Active Initiative Management

    . Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans for active initiatives, including milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and decision points.

    . Track progress against commitments and proactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, dependency gaps, and delivery impacts.

    . Coordinate project meetings, status reviews, planning sessions, and decision discussions with business and technical stakeholders.

    . Ensure project documentation, action items, decision logs, and status materials remain current, organized, and accessible.

    . Support prioritization decisions by providing visibility into project health, business value, delivery readiness, and resource capacity.

    Incoming Queue & Portfolio Intake

    . Maintain the queue of incoming initiatives, enhancement requests, reporting needs, automation opportunities, and business transformation ideas.

    . Partner with stakeholders and leadership to evaluate incoming work based on business impact, urgency, complexity, dependencies, and team capacity.

    . Facilitate intake and triage discussions to clarify scope, determine readiness, identify required inputs, and recommend next steps.

    . Provide visibility into upcoming demand, backlog status, intake trends, and prioritization tradeoffs.

    . Help establish and reinforce repeatable intake, planning, and governance practices for new work requests.

    Developer Workflow Coordination

    . Assist with managing the day to day workflow for a small team of developers and technical contributors.

    . Coordinate work assignments, priorities, blockers, and handoffs in partnership with technical leads and business owners.

    . Track work in progress and help ensure development activities align with approved requirements, business priorities, and project timelines.

    . Support backlog refinement, sprint or work planning, testing coordination, implementation readiness, and post release follow up as appropriate.

    . Help remove delivery obstacles by coordinating decisions, clarifying requirements, and escalating issues when needed.

    Transformation Partner Coordination

    . Coordinate with transformation partners and other delivery organizations executing projects for the business unit.

    . Maintain visibility into transformation initiatives that impact the business unit and identify overlaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for alignment.

    . Facilitate cross functional coordination across internal teams, technology partners, vendors, and transformation groups.

    . Ensure business unit priorities, requirements, timelines, and expected outcomes are clearly communicated to partner teams.

    . Track partner led project milestones, dependencies, risks, and status updates to support consistent leadership reporting.

    Weekly Reporting & Stakeholder Communications

    . Prepare and distribute weekly project and portfolio status reports for leadership and business stakeholders.

    . Report on accomplishments, upcoming milestones, active risks, blockers, decisions needed, priority changes, and resource considerations.

    . Create executive ready summaries, dashboards, presentations, and briefing materials that clearly communicate project health and delivery progress.

    . Provide concise, accurate, and timely communication across business, technical, and transformation partner audiences.

    . Escalate risks, conflicts, and decisions requiring leadership attention with clear context and recommended options.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    . 5+ years of experience in project management, technical delivery management, business analysis, program coordination, or a related role.

    . Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements for technical, reporting, data, automation, software, or process improvement initiatives.

    . Experience creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, action logs, risk and issue trackers, and stakeholder communication materials.

    . Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritizing work, and coordinating across business and technical stakeholders.

    . Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear business facing updates.

    . Strong organization, follow through, attention to detail, and ability to manage ambiguity in a fast paced environment.

    . Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.

    . Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Planner, Project, or similar project tracking tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    . Experience coordinating work for a small development, automation, analytics, or reporting team.

    . Experience with transformation, digital enablement, automation, reporting consolidation, or operational improvement initiatives.

    . Experience working with technology partners, transformation teams, vendors, or cross functional delivery organizations.

    . Familiarity with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Databricks, Power BI, or similar platforms.

    . PMP, PMI ACP, CSM, CBAP, or similar project management, agile, or business analysis certification.

    . Experience supporting executive level reporting, portfolio governance, or demand management.

    Success Measures

    . Business requirements are clear, complete, traceable, and actionable for technical delivery teams.

    . Active project plans accurately reflect scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.

    . Incoming work is visible, organized, triaged, and prioritized based on business value and team capacity.

    . Developer workflow is coordinated effectively, with blockers surfaced early and resolved collaboratively.

    . Transformation partner activities are aligned with business unit priorities and tracked consistently.

    . Weekly reporting provides leadership with concise, accurate, and decision ready visibility into project and portfolio status.

    Working Style

    . The ideal candidate is a proactive organizer and translator who can operate comfortably between business stakeholders, technical teams, and transformation partners. They should be comfortable creating structure where ambiguity exists, driving follow through without direct authority, and keeping leadership informed through concise, reliable reporting.

    Other Information:

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,900.00 $123,000.00.
