Technical & Craft - Scientist

Develop and manage a lab request intake and triage system (e.g., via Microsoft Teams or Smartsheet) to collect non-urgent requests, coordinate prioritization with lab managers and key stakeholders, and ensure timely follow-through while improving workflow efficiency and reducing ad hoc interruptions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: " Experience with a variety of biology lab equipment (e.g., multi-channel pipettes, centrifuge, microscope, plate reader, plate washer, flow cytometer).

Essential Functions:
Lab Manager
" Ensure that the Analytical Development (AD) team adhere to lab safety guidance and waste disposal guidance.
" Be the point of contact with EHHS on behalf of the AD team.
" Oversee inventory management such as purchasing, storing, and allocating of new laboratory equipment and supplies.
" Develop and manage a lab request intake and triage system (e.g., via Microsoft Teams or Smartsheet) to collect non-urgent requests, coordinate prioritization with lab managers and key stakeholders, and ensure timely follow-through while improving workflow efficiency and reducing ad hoc interruptions.
Research Associate
" Execute functional potency bioassays in support of Analytical Development activities.
" Perform potency testing using ELISA, other plate-based platforms, and flow cytometry, as needed.
" Support biologics-related AD workstreams through routine assay execution and data collection.
" Assist with assay troubleshooting, optimization, and performance trending under manager guidance.
" Maintain assay raw-data trackers and perform basic data analysis.
" Maintain clear, accurate documentation in electronic lab notebooks and test forms.
" Support routine management of assay reagents, consumables, and laboratory materials as needed.

Education and Experience:?
" Bachelor s or master s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or an equivalent qualification.
" At least 2 years of relevant industry or regulated-laboratory experience preferred; candidates with a master s degree and 0 2+ years of industry experience may also be considered.
" Preferred experience in the cell and gene therapy space.
" Experience with sample management and ELN/LIMS systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
" Experience with a variety of biology lab equipment (e.g., multi-channel pipettes, centrifuge, microscope, plate reader, plate washer, flow cytometer).
" Good organizational habits.
" Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
" Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
" Good written and oral communication skills.
" Ability to work in a collaborative environment with a team.
