IDR is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join one of our top clients for a fully onsite opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia.
This role involves supporting multiple IT projects, focusing on technical coordination, documentation, training, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with IT leadership to enhance operational efficiency and support various IT initiatives.
Position Overview for the Technical Coordinator:
- Support multiple IT initiatives by providing project coordination, documentation, and administrative support.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to document processes, assist with software and cloud-based projects, and improve operational workflows.
- Provide technical training and end-user support on new technologies, including cloud services and communication systems.
- Assist in the rollout and management of projects such as WebEx Calling migration, AWS WorkSpaces / Thin Client rollout, and wireless network expansion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, SOPs, and system procedures to standardize processes.
Requirements for the Technical Coordinator:
- 2+ years of experience in IT project coordination, systems support, or related technical roles.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining technical documentation like SOPs and process guides.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience supporting multiple IT projects or technology implementations simultaneously.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new applications and systems quickly.
